"I needed to buy tires for my Santa Fe, but by the time I had time off from working two jobs, hubby told me the money was all gone!!! Car insurance payment of $800 took the bulk and the rest went to gasoline and bills. I still need tires, but figure if I crash and burn,,,at least I get off this rock!lol I'm burnin $200 a week on gasoline just to commute to and from work and there is no mass trasit in the pine barrens of NJ to central Jersey! My Stimulus Went To GAS & BILLS.. THANKS ALOT.
"I paid my BILLS and bought GAS for my car with my stimulus check... Thanks a billion...NOT. Maybe next time I'll have enough left over for something FUN, considering the USA is at a war we have no business being in, and we could have just spent the war funding elsewhere. Like somewhere that it actually has a PURPOSE. F*** off George Bush. -Rob"

"I lost my job a month before I (finally) got my check. About a week later I brought home these two little guys because I needed something positive in my life. The check itself is still laying on my desk because I'm trying to decide what bill I can afford to pay this month: my car insurance, my car payment, or my rent. I'd rather trade the $300 check for a better economy so I can find a job."

No longer driving around with no insurance
"I had been driving around for a month with no insurance on my car (I know shame on me), so I started an insurance policy. While I was at AAA I also bought Cedar Point tickets (this was planned, not an impulse buy!), I go at least once every year, except last year I couldn't afford it. The rest got spent on groceries and gas. I still hate Dubya with a passion though."

Uncle Sam giveth and taketh away!
"I spent ours paying uncle sam back, cause our move to CO, was more than allowed and then they messed up on my health benefits for 5 months and then charged me $994.00 and they said if I didn't pay it back quickly they would garnish my check at 4% interest. "

THE FEDERAL GOV'T GETS AWAY WITH IT
"I paid overdue utility bills and insurance for my car that I can't even afford to put gas in. Nevermind that I don't have health insurance and my teeth are rotting out. Thanks to Federal Reserve Bank! People, the federal economy is a joke. The real stimulus will come when people decentralize the cities and relocalize economic activity. BUY LOCAL EVERYTHING!"

A Real Economic Stimulus
"I converted my stimulus payment into American Eagle silver coins. I view the stimulus as a foolish, inflationary move that will only worsen the core problem facing our economy - a falling dollar. This is my way of voicing opposition to politicians."
