First of all, I finally bought the Betsey Johnson perfume I've been wanting for 6 months or so ($40), I bought my plane ticket to Anaheim so I could go to Disneyland ($160), and I used the rest ($400) to pay off the debt I owe to my parents for a trip to Europe I took last summer."

"With a wedding and honeymoon to pay for, its hard to specify exactly where the money went. You could say it went to the photographer, or the caterer, or the bar bill. Or to spending money for our honeymoon in Cancun. All I know is, the money is gone, and it helped to contribute to the best week and a half of my life so that we didn't have to tap into savings or go into debt."

"I donated $100 to the Red Sox Foundation in hopes to win a 2007 World Series Ring and simultaneously help children of New England. I also put a down payment on a gallon of gas, there goes most of my check. The rest helped to pay for a trip to Florida so my son can see his other grandparents. The Stimulus
In January, Congress approved $152 billion in economic stimulus checks for millions of American households, intended to boost the economy and avert a recession. Just how this money will be spent remains to be seen. We hope this website helps shed some light on where the stimulus money is going.
