Paid For Someone Elses Gas Expenses!
"After my car was repossessed for not being able to pay both rent and car payment together. I still ending up having to move after barely completing my lease agreement for my apartment. So when I finally received the $300 I went down to T-mobile paid for my phone service to be restored. Gave my mother $40 and my sister $40, then bought some gas for someone else car to get back and forward to work for the rest of the week. And that ladies and gentlemen is how you spend $300 in a day! LLOL I hope that helped the economy, cause it sure didnt do much for me..but God Blesses anyway!"

"I needed to buy tires for my Santa Fe, but by the time I had time off from working two jobs, hubby told me the money was all gone!!! "Single grandmother who has cust of grandbaby and 15 yr old i caught up what i could on my rent, paid what bills that i could, lights water gas(house)no car, then i had to decide on my meds or diapers and food for my grandson. i bought what i could in those and was broke i still owe rent 300 on house gas and cant even buy a cake for his 1st bd cant get food stamps. im still trying to get unemployment due to the fact i had to quit my truck driving job to take care of my grandson it is very hard and getting harder and will until our gov realizes WE need more progress on this they dont need to be fat while we are starving"

"Our stimulus check went to getting a new air conditioner. we bought our house in December off a forclosure. we've been dumping so much money into it trying to fix it up that if we didn't get that stimulus check my husband, myself, and our baby probably would have died from heat stroke. In January, Congress approved $152 billion in economic stimulus checks for millions of American households, intended to boost the economy and avert a recession. Just how this money will be spent remains to be seen. We hope this website helps shed some light on where the stimulus money is going.
