  • New Appliances

"I used my money to payoff a credit card that I was trying to pay off before the 0% interest went off. I had used it to buy appliances for my house. I really need new ones they were almost thirty years old. And being a single parent of two it was making it hard to pay it off. So, I was very happy to get the money."

  • No more student loans!

"I was able to combine this with my regular refund and pay off two student loans. I also took my rescue puppy (she's a 3 year old shelter mutt) to the groomer for a nice summer 'do. The last little bit went to the dentist. I was laid off for three weeks, so I would rather have worked, but oh well. You do what you do."

  • To my health!

"I finally had my wisdom teeth out(all four). Been putting it off hoping to get insurance first, but then theres a waiting period after that... We had enough income to qualify but not enough to get the full amount & we only got $600, it covered just under half of the expenses. "

  • Electricity & Captain Morgan

"Spent my stimulus check paying off my electric bill which skyrocketed over winter...then I spent the last $100 going out with friends. Not like I really enhanced the economy with that $100 but the electric company was really pleased to have their dough....now if I can just stay caught up for the summer!"

  • Single mom just trying to make the ends meet

"I spent $600 of my stimulus check on the deposit of a new apartment because my current landlord never paid the mortgage, until I got the letter from the bank saying I had 30 days to get out because the house was being foreclosed upon. And when ever I receive the $300 I will use that money to put food in my son's cute little face. "

"I spent my $1500 on my credit card debt. It still has not been paid off but it put a dent into it. I hope to have it paid off sometime this year or next. "
