Garden shed
"New shed and garden plot. A storm took destroyed the old shed last year, and the garden will ease grocery bills and provide "safe" produce."

pay bills
"We are using the stimulus money to pay the 1st payment on our HELOC. We're using the remainder to pay part of our mortgage since my husband has been out of work on worker's compensation the past two months. "

A Hard Working Mom Trying To Make It
"My name is Kelly and I am a single mom of three kids and I work full time for a construction company. I got my check and it was not what it was suppose to be and I have yet to get an answer as to why. I was hoping that this check would help us get ahead with food and utlities but instead 865.54 went to fixing my truck the fly wheel went on it. Of course just my luck. So now it's just a matter of trying to keep my head above water. I just wish things would slow down on increasing becasue I see no end in sight."

Yeah Right
"When I received my stimulus payment via direct deposit it pretty much took my account out of a major negative balance...I would say I had about $250 left of $600. It helped, but with the rising cost of EVERYTHING, it makes life pretty rough for a single mom. The rest went to gas in my car/groceries. No fun spending for me."

I still need tires, but figure if I crash and burn,,,at least I get off this rock!lol I'm burnin $200 a week on gasoline just to commute to and from work and there is no mass trasit in the pine barrens of NJ to central Jersey! $1200 For a Family of 4
"My husband and I brought some much needed summer gear for our kids, Julia who is now 15 and Jake who is 13. Kids outgrow clothes at such an enormous rate it's mind boggling. LOL! Also hubby and I after making sure the kids were taken care of brought ourselves some clothes. The remaining amount went towards gas and food of course! Oh by the way we received $1200 for a family of four."

My husband is not spend his money the government kept it
"I tell you how my husband check was spent and it wasn't even spent by him. The government stayed with his money because of back childsupport he owes. I feel that is was not right not only did they stay with his income tax they also kept the money the government was giving away. I can understand if their is people (men) who do not pay and only pay with their income tax but, my husband has been paying faithfully without missing one payment since he has been with me and has been working. He owes alot and I can not be to upset and understand but, he is and has been paying so, why stay with that money also."
