Ruger SP-101 (.357 Rem Mag)
"With the price of steel going up, I decided to get a stainless steel Ruger SP-101 (built like a tank) in .357 Rem Mag. The used ones are selling for more than the new ones costed just a few years ago. "

The Stimulus
In January, Congress approved $152 billion in economic stimulus checks for millions of American households, intended to boost the economy and avert a recession. Just how this money will be spent remains to be seen. We hope this website helps shed some light on where the stimulus money is going.

Very nice! I've always liked the overbuilt, slightly blocky construction of the Ruger revolvers. Sure, S&W has a better double action trigger pull, but the Ruger can be used for chocking tires, a hammer, etc.! ^_^
Seriously, I dig 'em, and I hear all their prices jumped up with the cost of steel, so you may have done a smart thing!

Jeremy, great choice! I love my 101. Built like a tank, indeed!

Don't shoot yourself in the toe like I did.

The price of salvation could go up too, so return that darn thing and do something smart with the money. You don't need a gun for the value of it, you can buy steel on something else. Why a gun? You already have a heart of steal, so invest in something else.
