  • Eight Belles was euthanized on the track after breaking both front ankles and she Placed (2nd).
    With my $900 I can buy four or five TBs from the kill buyer and save them from slaughter!

  • TO OTTB - good work! FOBs will love you for it. If I had put money on Eight Belles I would have had to donate it all to save the horses from the kill buyers. Wouldn't have been able to enjoy the win after what happened to her. After Barbara I swore I'd never watch racing again but I broke down (oops bad analogy) to watch Eight Belles in the Derby. Preakness - I'll be a no show.
