I would, if I could...
"I couldn't spend my stimulus check nor could my siblings because we are all over 17 years old (21,19,18) and did not each make over $3,000 during the past year. So when the special day finally arrived, my mother only got her $600 check in the mail and nothing for her three college students. I would have used my check to go visit Chicago and pay some bills. I guess I'll have to wait until I finally score a summer job to put some money back in the system."

I'm in the same boat as you. Thought I was getting a check, but nope. I made $2,800 in 2007 working part time and going to college full-time, and got not one dime. Heartbreaking. What hurt the most is that they didn't even advertise that there were limitations. All the government said was that if you filed a 2007 tax return, you were qualified for the stimulus.
Obviously not.

I am really sick of reading these whining stories about people who pay no taxes and are surprised that they don't get a tax "rebate" check. This is not designed to be public welfare, but a "rebate" to those who actually pay taxes. Unless, of course, you pay a lot of taxes, like myself, and therefore don't qualify. I paid well over 10 times what you earned last year in taxes and got nothing - who do you think got screwed?

Way to be a dick 'No Check'. Doesn't change the fact that you're right.
