The Selling of America
"My stimulus check is in the envelope that my grandchild is holding. Our foolish government borrowed this money, and billions more, from Communist China. Our children and grandchildren will be paying it back. Just thought that I would help her to make her first payment. Enjoy your trinkets and baubles. They come at a high cost to future generations."

I just read your blog and it brought me to tears. I agree completely with you, and at 25 and a mother of 2 kids, the ramifications to what are government is doing is scary. This is the first blog that has addressed the same feelings that I have. Nothing in life is free, we will pay a price.

That about sums it all up. I'm 24 with 4 kids and even though I'm young I already know there will be NO social security or medicare for me when I retire or for my kids. Me and hubby have already started investing into stocks and other options she we won't have to do without like so many of our senior citizens. -.-

You couldn't be more right. I'm terrified of what is going to happen to my kids!

Good for you! Have you ever though about running for political office? All those lawyers in the Capital are bankrupting our children.

Very true, we have been sending our money overseas for many years by buying Chinese trinkets and baubles.
When the Social Security Baby-Boomer crisis hits and the government decides to solve the problem by printing money with wild abandon, the joke will be on the Chinese when our currency becomes toilet paper. Of course you'll be screwed too.
