Hello stimulus check! Goodbye stimulus check...
"I spent my stimulus learning a life lesson. I bought this king-sized bed (on credit) so that my boyfriend and I would have plenty of room to sleep. Of course, as often happens in relationships, a few months later we broke up. (Perhaps it was the curse of buying the big bed? Kinda like getting their named tattooed on you?)And now I am stuck with this great big bed for a little me, and a great big bill from Visa for my tiny budget. I've learned not to buy things I can't afford - especially when in the future, I probably won't even need them! "

It's a great lesson to learn. At least you didn't say "poor me, I'm such a victim." You learned from it and moved on. Good for you!

I must totally agree with Lisa's comment!! If you have learned the lesson that came from that experience, you are better off than most. The greatest lesson I have learned in life is understanding that there is no greater blessing than that of being CONTENT -- content with where I am; content with what I have; and a thankful heart to God for both. No amount of money can buy contentment, just like no amount of earthly possessions can ever satisfy a coveteous or materialistic heart. Learn to focus on contentment, Elle. You will never regret it. You have learned a precious lesson. May it stay with you for life!

Profound, Eric! I feel pretty much the same.
As for the bed, I think y'all just love the colors and pillows. You can put any bed on a platform.
