• A Foreign Fence

    "I needed a nice fence around my house. So, I hired some Mexicans to do the job. Now I have a new fence and $400 left of my stimulus check."

  • Either you're married with 3 kids ($2100) or you managed to only pay $200 for a fence from some cheap labor... if it's the latter, please let me know who they are, I could really go for a new fence.

  • Im sure it makes a big deal to say "I hired some mexicans to do the job" rather than say "I hired some ppl" would you feel you got lesser quality of work if you hired another race of ppl to do the job? Are other races more expensive is what you was getting at? Or maybe a better phrase would of been "I hired some laborers to do the job", If you had that much money left over you must of had many kids and so probably don't own a tv hence why all the kids to fill up the time (making them if you didn't get the comment).

    I believe what they are saying is that often illegal immigrants (especially those from Mexico, [aka, "Mexicans"]) live in financial hardship due to the workforce barriers language and visas, yet they still can have excellent physical/craftsmanship abilities. This high supply low demand aspect of their labour makes them less expensive for the same quality of work. Some may argue that they have more to prove for themselves than an american/union laborer, and provide higher quality results. At any rate, I believe your panties are bunched [no gender or orientation implied] and I suggest you remove them. P.S. I just won on the internets, w00t.

  • Soooooo, nice to see everyone dropping by to either:
    -drop a politically correct comment or
    -bust on mexicans (because any latinamerican is mexican even though they're not, just as any asian is a jap or any european accent is unintelligible)
    so being a quarter mexican, a quarter italian and a quarter irish, I´m just gonna sit down to either wait for the name-calling on me or the "I didn't read anything man" kind'a comment. Nice fence, poor choice of words. Lots of handy people around the globe: Mexico, Japan, US, Germany, Brasil and so on.

    In Louisiana, where the gentleman who built the fence is from, recently suffered a "fuck you" from a hurricane. After the cane, lots of MEXICANS, yes MEXICANS, flooded into Louisiana to find work. They provide good, cheap labor. I live in New Orleans, I would no. So, Skinny, go suck an egg.
