• Robbing Peter to Pay Paul

"We paid off some credit cards to have money to make car payments on two new-to-us gas-inefficient vehicles, thus perpetuating the debt cycle. I was very happy with the credit card pay-off, not so much with gaining car payments. But it beats getting stuck in the snow countless times this past winter and incurring major body-work to my former car. (Oh, and a little bit paid for the load of gravel to create a parking area so our cars don't end up in snowbanks for much of the winter.)"

  • So typical. When did you buy your gas guzzlers? Recently? Probably well after gas hit the $2/gal mark?

So, you think you NEED a big ol' gas guzzler to keep from getting stuck in the snow? There are AWD cars you can get that are far more fuel efficient and just as agile in the snow. Oh and BTW, I lived through five MI winters driving a little front wheel drive car and never once got stuck in the snow. My husbands 4X4 pickup stayed parked. Stuck in the snow... lamest excuse in the book.

The fact is you want to be seen in your big ol' vehicle. Hey everyone, look at me. Yeah, I look at ya alright. And you know exactly what I'm thinking about you. So, how much does it take to fill those gas thanks? LMAO! I hope it hits $10/gal.... I do!
