    "I bought a pair of turntables! It's something I've always wanted but could never justify spending the money on, but the stars really aligned for this purchase. I found out a friend of a friend was selling his and I got them for only $250! I spent the other $50 on various nefarious activities."

  • Uh, amazed, it was justified in the sense that because of the stimulus return, it would not put him out to spend the money on a frivilous purchase, while previously he would of had to cut back on paying for the important things in order to buy the turntables. When you look at this obvious fact, you could see that he does plan and make practical decisions, and odds are, his future will be secure if he continues to wait till he has extra cash on hand before making unnecessary purchases, versus doing what 3/4 of America does when they want something-use a credit card.
