Bought gas and broke again.
"I used my money to buy gas. i spend $50 a week, now I'm broke and waiting for Bush to be generous again. It was probably my money anyway. When i see him , I will THANK him for holding it in a savings account for me. Bastard."

It wasn't your money. It was not tied to future taxes or your future refunds. It was given to you and cost you nothing, enjoy and stop complaining.

Hey It Wasn't...
Are you kiddding??? What do you mean it will cost us nothing? Dubbya is killing the remainder of the value of the federal reserve note (you may call it a dollar). Before you keep on supporting the neocons (Obama and McCain = no difference)I recommend you study how our money supply works.
This stimulus has cost Stacy and the rest of us at least $0.50 more per gallon.

Hey, there are plenty of states that don't charge a state tax for their employees of that state, but those of us that live in states that do charge are giving even more to the goverment then then we feel is right. And you are right, we are all paying for the goverments high priced gas, and their high priced food and this and that. The least they could have done in giving us back some of their over charged tax money is payed interest on it.

George Bush's Grand Idea:
Stimulus Checks. Loan MORE money from China and therefore increase the national debt by trying to appease millions of americans by paying them with borrowed money.
Makes perfect sense to me.

Hey It wasn't- Did you know we have to pay income taxes on that "free stimulus check" that we received...? Oh, and yeah, all the money we've paid in for taxes....THEY collected interest on....only to give some of it back, and minus our interest. Think about all the taxes you paid in, and imagine how much money you could of made off interest on just the part they gave back....savings interest, stock market, turnover investment....ANYTHING. You're an idiot man.

I use up about two tanks a gas a week, and each tank costs me $58 dollars....that's almost $120 a week. I get paid $8.50 an hour, and I work part time because I'm a fulltime college student. I barely bring home $600 a month....and gas now costs me $480 a month. Nowadays my off days suck just as much, if not more than the days I work because I just sit at home....I can't afford to drive anywhere because I need the gas for work, and I can't afford to go out and do anything. At least when I work I get to see people, other employees and be in the car for a quick drive.
