I helped support a crooked system!
"Because of the total mismanagement of government and backdoor deals between politicians and the oil producing countries the US imports from, I spent my fabulous stimulus on gas just to get to work. Thanks, George, you ass!"

The Stimulus
In January, Congress approved $152 billion in economic stimulus checks for millions of American households, intended to boost the economy and avert a recession. Just how this money will be spent remains to be seen. We hope this website helps shed some light on where the stimulus money is going.

Absolutely loved your post. Well put! It's the simple concept of "can't afford to drive...can't afford to not " that's eating us all alive. At least in areas I've lived, in order to take public transportation such as a bus, one would have to wake up 2-3 hours earlier, and spend as long as 6 hours in commute in one day. That's not including the 8 hours of work you took the bus to get to, or the fact that you wanted to eat before you went to bed and had to wake up and start all over again. So in other words, if you do not want your live to consist of living to work, you have to drive, and you have to pay that $60+ for a tank of gas, and you will still do little more than just scrape by. It's a vicious cycle.
