• Traveling to Italy while being laid off

  • Smart plan, why save money now that you're laid off. Considering you have no income, you may as well go spend what little you do in a country where your money goes half as far. Brilliant!

    Don't worry about govt handouts, you'll be getting unemployment soon enough. Maybe then you can tour another country in Europe.

  • Enjoy yourselves. Maybe if you guys need some extra money for more traveling you could look into teaching English in Italy. I know of a couple of friends who have done that.
