  • Really, Emmy, you did the right thing. You spread the money around. That stimulates the economy. Washington, D.C. thanks you!

    I am against this "stimulus package". It means I paid too much in taxes. If the government has money to give to people, that means they took too much from the people. Of course, that's the fault of congress. Congress holds the purse and all related to the purse. Your President really has no power over the nation's money. Your distain is misplaced.

    Remember to vote out all the democrats you can this November. It is really the only hope our economy has. Look what's happened since the democrats became the controlling party in January 2007. It is unbelievable how fast democrats can ruin a good thing. I have come to suspect that was their goal.

  • First of all this gal seems to have misplaced her
    'anger' she is obviously a DEM... everything is George Bush' fault!
    but I don't see any indication she was even 'tempted ' to 'return the check'!!!
    she seems to have stimulated the economy quite nicely!
    She doesn't seem to 'get it' that our DEM Congress
    caused this problem don't believe it? think about it...
    everytime NANCY PELOSI grinned and patted herself and her colleagues on the back and promised change in the first 100 days........it scared me more and more! and it looks like I was right to be scared!
    even the people who wanted 'change' didn't think that
    she meant change for the 'worse'!!!!!!!!!
    the scary part ? these people vote!
