New Roof - Our "Stimulus" money at work
"Sorry W, but we didn't get to buy a big screen TV to stimulate China's economy. We were responsible with our money and paid for a new roof. With the remaining $100 we're going to buy some groceries. This "stimulus" money was a great idea! Now our daughter can look forward paying this back some day. "

The Stimulus
In January, Congress approved $152 billion in economic stimulus checks for millions of American households, intended to boost the economy and avert a recession. Just how this money will be spent remains to be seen. We hope this website helps shed some light on where the stimulus money is going.

That's one thought I guess Courtney. But with what our country has been through the last 7 and a half years, future generations are pretty much screwed anyway. Each America will have to contribute over $30,000 each to pay off Bush's war. So in the scheme of it all what’s another $1,400?

America makes big TV's too, they just aren't as popular. Westinghouse anyone? Also, buying foreign made products still boosts our economy, unless you buy it direct from a Chinese factory. I'm thinking most people buy it from an American online store, or a local store.
