Fancy New Lens
"I bought a new lens for my camera, my first really nice lens. It's a Canon 200mm f/2.8L. I bought it ostensibly for an upcoming trip to the Galapagos islands, and I suppose I would have got it with or without the $600 check, but having that money certainly made the decision easier and eliminated an chance of buyer's remorse or going with a cheaper alternative. "

That is a sweet lens. I'm a Nikon man myself, but the "L" series by Canon is superb.
