  • With the amount our government spent on this ridiculous "stimulus," we could've covered universal healthcare for the nation for what... 40 years?

Hope the check covers your pills for at least a month or two. :(

  • Is that a bottle of viagra he is holding?

  • You're in AZ...just go to Mexico for those drugs. There are also quite a few Phx area Target stores that have them for $4.

  • Did you guys ever stop to think that not all drugs are "generic" and that not all medications are covered by insurance, medicaid and medicare?

You'll learn this when you get older, but a lot of times when you need heart meds, cholestoral pills, etc, they're not covered in full and they don't make generic versions. My grandparents have some of the best health insurance retired people can have, and they still pay about $500-700 a month of meds... and that's just the portion that's not covered. It's just a fact of life.

  • This is by far the most memorable, and saddest, post I have seen. I wish they could have afforded to spend their money on something they wanted, instead of something they needed to stay alive. Maybe next year we will have a president that cares about the fact that there are people in this country who have to decide between eating and medication.

  • Does anyone not see how wrong this situation is? To have to use every penny you get for medicine. It's sad and disgusting that the richest country in the world won't take care of our elderly. Damn shame.

  • this makes me hate our government even more. The US has gone to complete sh*t in, like, 8 years. ugh!

  • Was reading through these comments and yours was the first that echoed what we did. Got 3 month supply of our medicines needed. As stated above not all come in generic or on the 4 dollar list at wal mart or 5 dollar list at HEB
