  • Almost the same thing happened to us! Our parish (county) taxes increased so much that our escrow shortage payment was over $1100.00. Guess how much our stimulus check was? Yep! ;(

  • Same here. I have my $714 semi-annual property tax bill hanging on the fridge (yeah, I live in a tiny condo so it's cheap), and it's due by July 1st. When my $600 stimulus check comes shortly after June 13th I will be adding another $114 and sending it to my city tax collector. Wooohooo.
