Made just a LITTLE too much to get a rebate

“Because I made over $75,000 last year (just over), I didn’t get a check. Then, just when the checks started coming out, I was laid off with no end in sight. So, I could really use the money, but because I feel on the low end of the ceiling, I get nothing. We are buying store brand groceries, consolidated to an economy vehicle, cut our cable and are just paying our bills. I guess we count as higher middle class BUT we TOO are completely Affected by this economy and the arguments on Capitol Hill by millionaire representatives that care more about their terms than the folks they represent! And don’t get us started on the baloney discussions regarding Oil…”
