Paying for our poor currency

May 24, 2008 0 Comments

“My family spent a week in Barcelona for my parents’ 40th anniversary. My stimulus payment covered the change in costs in the vacation since the dollar is TANKING against the Euro since we started planning. In Oct. 07, one Euro cost $1.43. Now it costs $1.56. It’s about a 10% increase in the cost of the vacation to celebrate years of happy marriage and help my folks understand the rest of the world doesn’t hate Americans (they had never been to Europe before.) Thank you president Bush, your crummy war, and your crappy economic policy. “
