“In the process of refinancing/purchasing my home. Had a local real estate broker tell us what to do to improve the house for sale. Hired a local handyman to get the entire list of painting, molding, carpentry work done. In addition, replaced door weather-striping, replaced rain gutters (not a bad idea after 19 years of Oregon showers), installed thresholds on four doors and re-stained faded window-sills throughout the house. Every nickel was spent in the same zip code — ditto with State/Federal refunds received!”
